Former US President Donald Trump claims American forces are ‘way ahead of schedule’ in military operations against Iran, stating the mission estimated to take four to six weeks is progressing rapidly after 26 days. Trump asserts that 154 Iranian ships ‘have been shot down and are resting very nicely at the bottom of the sea,’ destroyed in less than a week. He claims US forces are ‘free to roam over their cities and towns and destroy all of their crazy nuclear weapons and missiles and drones.’ Trump states Iran’s 22 ‘mine droppers’ have been struck using the same weapon deployed to stop drugs entering the United States. He claims the Iranian regime is ‘admitting to itself that they have been decisively defeated’ and ‘begging to make a deal,’ though publicly denying negotiations. Trump mentions the Hormuz Strait could reopen if Iran makes ‘the right deal.’ He also references military operations in Venezuela and claims drug trafficking by water is down 98 percent.
