Trump Administration Signs Memo Calling Crackdown Against ‘Far-Left’ Groups
US President Donald Trump recently issued a presidential memorandum aimed at curbing alleged "extreme left-wing views." Trump suggested that George Soros, the Hungarian-born billionaire philanthropist who funds the Open Society Foundations, could be in his sights.
This memorandum comes after the right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk was shot dead. Soon after, JD Vance and the Trump team blamed extreme left-wing views for Kirk’s murder.
JD Vance recently renewed his threats in a Fox interview. He threatened jail terms for those who incite or provoke violence. He also said that the First Amendment, which protects free speech, does not safeguard speech that incites violence.
