A stampede near Shree Gundicha temple in Puri, Odisha resulted in three fatalities and approximately 50 injuries. The incident occurred around 4 am when devotees gathered for Rath Yatra festivities. Chaos ensued after two trucks reportedly entered the crowded area near the chariots of Lord Jagannath and his sibling deities. Six individuals are in critical condition. The Odisha law minister has informed the chief minister about the incident.
