A bus carrying 18 passengers has plunged into the flooded Alaknanda river in Uttarakhand’s Rudraprayag district. Rescue operations are underway in challenging weather conditions, with the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) on site. As per Uttarakhand police, the bus went out of control in the Gholsir area. Initial reports indicate three fatalities, with nine people still missing and several injured being treated at Rudraprayag hospital.
