Six people were killed after a cargo ropeway trolley collapsed at Pavagadh hill in Gujarat’s Panchmahal district. The trolley, which was used for carrying construction material for a temple renovation, fell after its cable snapped. The deceased were labourers who were inside the trolley at the time of the incident. Local police and fire brigade teams initiated rescue and relief operations immediately following the accident. The administration has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the collapse. An official stated that a committee has been formed and "after submitting a primary report to the government, the next steps will be taken by the government."
