Khanji stated that the government responded promptly, with ministers present at the scene within hours. He mentioned that the Chief Minister personally visited the site and ordered a thorough inquiry. Khanji asserted that the government is taking the incident seriously, has awarded compensation of more than a crore rupees to the deceased’s families, and that bodies were transported in refrigerated boxes with escorts. He urged against politicizing the incident, calling the allegations false rumors.
