Mumbai police have arrested Muhammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, an alleged illegal Bangladeshi immigrant, for the stabbing of actor Saif Ali Khan. The suspect reportedly entered Khan’s residence with the intent to steal money for his return to Bangladesh. Police are investigating how Shariful obtained fake ID and entered India. Khan remains under observation at Leelavati Hospital following surgery to remove a knife lodged near his spine.
