An all-party meeting is underway in the Parliament complex to discuss the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 28 lives. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is chairing the meeting, with senior ministers and opposition leaders in attendance. The government is briefing all political parties about the steps taken and planned in response to the attack. Prime Minister Modi, speaking from Bihar, vowed to identify, track, and punish every terrorist. The opposition has raised questions about intelligence failures and accountability. Political parties across the spectrum expressed solidarity and support for decisive action against the perpetrators. The Prime Minister stated that revenge is only part of India’s befitting answer. Meanwhile, there are reports of Kashmiri students facing harassment in some parts of the country in the aftermath of the attack.
