Sources indicate the PM expressed full faith in the armed forces and gave them freedom to act against terrorism. The PM reportedly said a ‘crushing blow’ must be dealt to terror. This meeting comes ahead of a Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting scheduled for tomorrow. The discussions likely focused on formulating a strategic response following the recent terror attack in Pehalgam.
