A controversy has emerged in Kerala’s Thrissur constituency regarding alleged voter fraud. Complaints from the CPIM and Congress detail instances of multiple votes registered from single addresses, including vacant flats. A flat owner, Prasanna, stated that she received information about nine voters registered using her address, while she is the only person with a vote at that residence. Both parties allege that voter manipulation has occurred using addresses of unoccupied apartments and houses. There are claims that voters from other constituencies were added to the Thrissur list. Allegations also include the shifting of votes by a political family from Thiruvananthapuram to Thrissur. It is claimed that between 30,000 to 60,000 votes were shifted to the Thrissur constituency.
