
At Mahindra Drivers of Change 2026, Niraj Rajmohan, CTO & Co-Founder, Ultraviolette Automotive Private Limited, and Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-Founder, Ultraviolette Automotive Private Limited, shared their 10-year journey of building India’s most advanced electric motorcycles. Narayanan explained their vision, stating the company aims at ‘making an India for the world’. The duo, childhood friends turned business partners, returned to India in 2016 after working abroad. They spent eight years developing their first product, the F77, which is now retailing across Paris, Berlin, London and seven other European countries. Neeraj highlighted their technological achievements, including Asia’s highest range on a two-wheeler going over 300 kilometres with a single charge. The company has built everything in-house, from battery management systems to motor controllers. Their recent F99 concept motorcycle set records as the fastest automobile ever made in India, reaching 258 kilometres per hour on Republic Day 2025. The company has grown from a team of three to 600 employees, with vehicles covering over 15 million kilometres.
