He stated, ‘Indian housewife should be given that award of being the smartest investor not for decades but millennia.’ Jain explained that gold consumption has shifted dramatically over 30 years. He revealed the World Gold Council’s Swarnim Bharat 2047 project, predicting that one-third of India’s gold consumption will come from domestic mining by 2047.
