Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief and actor Vijay ripped into the DMK government in Tamil Nadu on Sunday during a massive protest demanding justice for Ajith Kumar, a temple guard who allegedly died due to police torture in custody. Speaking before hundreds of supporters in Chennai at his first major public protest since launching the TVK, Vijay ridiculed the state’s response to rising custodial deaths, calling the Chief Minister MK Stalin-led administration a "Sorry ma model" government.
