Tensions Escalate In Middle East As Iran-Israel Conflict Worsens
Hezbollah has fired thousands of rockets and drones at Israel, saying it was acting in solidarity with Hamas, which is also backed by Iran. Israel has retaliated and evacuated tens of thousands of residents from the region.
Israeli Army Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said, "The IDF is on high alert, both in defence and in attack, IDF forces are deployed in the air, at sea and on land and are prepared for any scenario and especially for the attack plans in the immediate time frame."
Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah vowed strong retaliation. It was after assassination of their top leaders. Haniyeh was killed in Tehran,
Fuad Shukur in Beirut. In retaliation, Hezbollah fired barrage of rockets on Israel. US, UK, France called on their citizens to leave Lebanon. India has asked its citizens in Israel to stay vigilant.
