Telugu actor Dimple Hayati and her husband David have been booked by police in Hyderabad following a complaint from their domestic help. The woman, Priyanka, who is originally from Odisha, has alleged she endured 10 days of inhuman torture at the couple’s residence. An FIR has been registered at the Filmnagar police station based on her complaint, which details allegations of "verbal lashing, food denial, harassment." The domestic help claimed she was forced to do more work than promised, was not provided with adequate food, and that the harassment increased daily. The police have taken the victim’s statement and are now investigating the serious allegations against the star couple, who are expected to be issued a notice for questioning.
