The arrests were made after posters were displayed near the Congress office, Gandhi Bhavan, criticising the government for allegedly unfulfilled promises as it completes two years in power. The BJP has strongly condemned the arrests, calling them arbitrary and an attempt to silence dissent against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government. The party has attacked the ruling Congress, stating that the ’emergency mindset is still alive in the Congress party’. The BJP is demanding the immediate release of its members, asserting that their actions constituted legal democratic criticism.
