Iranian missiles struck Tel Aviv on Monday evening as sirens blared across the city warning of incoming attacks. Interception explosions were visible in the night sky as Israel’s air defence systems engaged the missiles. An Israeli police statement said small bombs scattered from a cluster warhead and hit multiple locations across the city. Central Tel Aviv, a densely populated area housing important government offices, was primarily targeted. Despite Israeli claims of decimating Iranian missile and drone launch capabilities, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard continues to fire missiles including Khurramshahr, Qasr bomb and the supersonic Sajjad missiles. Israeli authorities have deployed additional interceptors to minimise damage. While the missiles were intercepted, falling debris caused infrastructure damage. Israeli authorities confirmed 13 deaths and many injuries from the Iranian missile attacks.
