He submitted a false flight plan, claiming a routine route, before rerouting mid-air toward Antarctica. The runway touchdown at Lieutenant Rodolfo Marsh Base violated national and international aviation regulations, prompting a 90-day investigation. Guo aimed to fly solo to all seven continents while raising $1 million for cancer research. His lawyer cites in-flight complications as the reason for the detour.
