Actor-turned-politician Vijay has filed his nomination from two seats in Tamil Nadu, Perambur in Chennai and Trichy East, marking his political debut. Perambur, Chennai’s largest assembly constituency by vote count with a majority of working class voters, is a DMK stronghold where Vijay will face DMK’s RD Sekhar.
