A strong political message in Tamil Nadu has highlighted the central government’s efforts to deliver welfare schemes directly to people without middlemen.
Schemes like PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, and loans for youth and women were praised.
However, the state government has been accused of blocking housing benefits for poor families due to wrong surveys and exclusion of eligible people. It is claimed that lakhs of families missed out on getting permanent houses.
Workers have been asked to reach people directly, identify those who missed benefits, and spread awareness about welfare schemes and future support.
