The Avadi City Police in Tamil Nadu police have arrested a police constable for allegedly sexually harassing a young woman complainant, asking her to come to his hotel room. The video account by the young woman has gone viral. Amid rising sexual offences against women, today the Leader of Opposition EPS slammed the ruling DMK calling the government sleeping and that law and order in the state is in a shamble. The DMK denied allegations, saying swift action has been taken in every such incidents. NDTV’s Deepthi Joseph spoke to DMK Spokesperson Dr Syed Hafeezullah.
