The autopsy report of Ajit Kumar, a 27-year-old temple security guard who died in police custody in Tamil Nadu, has revealed shocking details. The victim sustained 44 injuries, including brain hemorrhage, internal bleeding in the heart, stomach, and liver. The report also noted abrasions, contusions, and bite marks across his body. Ajit was picked up from Sivaganga district on June 27th for questioning in a jewellery theft case and found dead the next day. Five policemen have been arrested in connection with the case. The CBI has taken over the investigation, with the Tamil Nadu government pledging full cooperation. A high court-monitored probe is also underway, with the final report to be submitted on July 8.
