Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin has moved a resolution in the state assembly seeking more autonomy for the state. A high-level committee headed by former Supreme Court Judge Joseph Kurian will be constituted to protect the state’s rights. The committee will re-evaluate the constitution and submit an interim report by January 26, with a full report expected in two years. Stalin cited issues like NEET, GST, and education policies as reasons for seeking greater state autonomy.
