Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has declined to attend the Lok Ayyappa Sangamam in Kerala, citing "prior commitment". Adding a layer to the development, PTR Thyagarajan’s grandfather is noted to have contributed to the Ayyappa temple by gifting an idol.
