Sweden has officially joined the Artemis Accords, becoming the 38th country to endorse the principles of transparency, peaceful space exploration, and international cooperation. The accords, initiated by NASA in 2020, support the Artemis program aimed at returning humans to the Moon. The signing took place in Stockholm on April 16, with Minister for Education Dr. Mats Persson and NASA Administrator Bill Nelson emphasizing the importance of shared values and strategic collaboration in space exploration between Sweden and the U.S.
