The Supreme Court on Friday said the suicides in Kota were not due to NEET-UG 2024 results, and that the petitioners seeking a CBI probe into the alleged irregularities in the exam should not make such emotional arguments.
The court’s remark came while the vacation bench of Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta took objection to a submission made by one of the counsels for petitioners, saying that students at coaching centres in Kota were dying by suicide.
