A SpiceJet staffer at Srinagar airport, Mudassir Ahmed, recounts an assault by an army officer. The altercation began over the officer’s excess cabin baggage, which weighed 16 kilos, more than double the allowed limit. When asked to pay for the extra weight, the officer allegedly became violent. The staffer, Mudassir Ahmed, claims, "he was hit on his face with the baggage and he was even slapped and punched." The incident, captured on CCTV, resulted in injuries to the staffer’s face, neck, and spine. Following the event, two FIRs have been registered by the police in Budgam, one against the army officer and another against a SpiceJet employee.
