SpaceX on Wednesday successfully launched its Transporter-12 mission, carrying 131 payloads into low-Earth orbit aboard a Falcon 9 rocket. Among the payloads were the Firefly satellites, developed by Indian startup Pixxel, marking a major milestone in the field of hyperspectral imaging technology.
The launch took place from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The Falcon 9 rocket deployed Pixxel’s Firefly constellation, comprising three advanced high-resolution commercial hyperspectral satellites.
