Astronomers have discovered that our Solar System might extend farther into space than previously thought. Using advanced techniques and machine learning, researchers identified icy objects beyond the Kuiper Belt, possibly forming a second ring of material 60–80 AU from the Sun. This discovery challenges earlier beliefs about the Solar System’s boundaries and hints at a larger structure. The findings are based on data from the Subaru Telescope and observations by the New Horizons Probe. While the results await peer review, they open doors to further exploration of the Solar System’s outer edges.
