A two-hour downpour this week triggered a cascade of tragedies across Gurugram, leaving at least eight dead. By next morning, roads remained submerged, drains were choked with sludge, and residents’ anger rose almost as fast as the floodwaters. India Today met the residents of Suncity, Gurugram and the views from the people living in highest tax paying city of the country were the really eye opening.
