A shootout has occurred outside actor Disha Patani’s residence in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Responsibility for the incident has been claimed by gangsters Goldie Brar and Rohit Godara. The firing is allegedly linked to remarks made about Hindu saints. A social media post claimed the attack was a response to Disha’s sister, Khushbu, allegedly insulting Premanand Maharaj. Security for the Patani family has been increased, with a dozen personnel deployed outside the house. The Bareilly Police are investigating the incident and are analysing CCTV footage to identify the attackers. In a warning to Bollywood, a social media post stated, "This was just a trailer. Next time, if she or anyone else shows disrespect towards our religion, then no one in their house will be left alive."
