Actor Shilpa Shetty was interrogated by the Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) for approximately four and a half hours at her residence. The questioning is in connection with an FIR registered against her and Raj Kundra in a cheating and forgery case amounting to 60 crores. "An FIR was registered against Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra in a cheating and forgery case of 60 crores." During the interrogation, Shetty reportedly cooperated and provided information about transactions related to her advertising company’s bank account, submitting several documents to the police. The EOW is now verifying these documents and the statement provided. Officials have indicated that Raj Kundra, who has been questioned previously, will also be interrogated as part of the ongoing investigation.
