Sheikh Hasina's Son Denies US Role, Hindu Protests in Bangladesh | India Today News

Sheikh Hasina’s son, Sajid Wazir, has denied reports that his mother, the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, attributed her ousting to a US plot. He stated that no such statement was made before or after her departure from Dhaka. Reports had suggested that Sheikh Hasina blamed the USA for attempting a regime change and seeking to build a military base on St. Martin’s Island. Meanwhile, targeted violence against minority Hindus has led to protests across Bangladesh.
