Shefali Jariwala’s Death: Bollywood Mourns the Loss of ‘Kaanta Laga Girl’
Shefali Jariwala, best known for her role in the iconic music video, Kaanta Laga, breathed her last on the intervening night of June 27 and June 28. The actress was rushed to the Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by her husband, where the doctors declared her dead on arrival. While the hospital and the family members are yet to issue an official statement on her passing, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has confirmed Shefali Jariwala’s cause of death.
On June 28, the AICWA took to their official X (formerly Twitter) to post their remembrance for Shefali Jariwala. In the post, Cine Body shared a photo of the actress along with the caption, “Shefali Jariwala is no longer with us. Gone too soon at just 42 due to a sudden heart attack. It’s hard to believe she’s gone.” Their post confirms that Shefali Jariwala passed away from a heart attack.
