This decision has reportedly upset Eknath Shinde, a senior leader of the Shiv Sena faction. The final decision is expected to take a few more days, with all three factions of the Mahayuti alliance, the NCP, Shiv Sena and BJP, holding separate meetings. The BJP has made it clear that they are in no hurry to appoint a Chief Minister.
