The Election Commission has postponed by-polls in 14 constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, and Punjab due to festivities. The Samajwadi Party and the Aam Aadmi Party have criticised the move, accusing the BJP of fear of loss. In Karnataka, Chief Minister Siddharth Amaya has been summoned by the Lokayut police in connection with the alleged Muda scam. The notice directs the Chief Minister to appear for questioning at the Lokayut office in Mysore on November 6th.
