This meeting comes at a time when Trump is increasingly trying to corner no, bully India into stopping oil imports from Russia using the tariff bomb. A 50% tariff has been slapped on India, the India-US trade deal has been put on pause, and the language from some within the Trump administration, like Pete Navarro, has turned increasingly intemperate.
