Following her acquittal in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, Sadhvi Pragya hailed the verdict, stating, “Satyamev Jayate.” She has made a significant claim that she was tortured during the investigation to name senior BJP leaders. According to Pragya, she was pressured by the ATS to name Prime Minister Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. She alleges the torture would have ceased had she complied. In a blistering attack on the opposition, she said, “those who hate the nation got their answers.” Speaking to India Today, Sadhvi Pragya also revealed her intention to pursue legal action against the officials she alleges were involved in her torture during the investigation of the case.
