Videos circulating online showed thick black smoke rising over the area and damage to nearby structures. Russia briefly shut airports following the strike. Ukraine also reported hitting a gas processing plant in Russia’s Samara region. The developments come as recent US-brokered talks between Moscow and Kyiv ended without a breakthrough.
