Ukraine has launched its biggest drone attack on Russia since the war began over three years ago. Codenamed Operation Spiderweb, the attack targeted multiple Russian air bases across the country, destroying 41 aircraft including strategic bombers. The operation was planned over 18 months and involved smuggling drones into Russia in trucks. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky hailed it as a ‘unique operation’ that proves Ukraine’s tactical superiority.
