The administration of the United States President has for the first time permitted Ukraine to use the U.S.-supplied long-range missile for striking inside Russia, Reuters and Associated Press reported citing sources.
The response by Ukraine’s neighbor Poland was more enthusiastic comparatively. Writing on social media, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said that President Biden responded in a language that Putin understands, quote-unquote. Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly warned the West against letting Ukraine use these long-range missiles to target inside Russia. He has said in the past as well that such a move would mean NATO would be at war with Russia. He has made it clear that this is a red line for Moscow.
