At least six people, including four Indian students, were injured in a knife attack at a dormitory of a state medical university in Ufa, Russian authorities said. According to Russia’s Interior Ministry, a 15-year-old suspect entered the dormitory housing foreign students and began stabbing occupants before being overpowered by police. Two police officers were also injured during the arrest. Russian media and Telegram channels reported alleged neo-Nazi links and the presence of extremist symbols, claims that investigators have not officially confirmed. The Indian Embassy in Moscow confirmed that four Indian nationals were among those wounded. Authorities have launched a high-level investigation, with the motive still under probe.
