A man created a ruckus at a public event for Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, just two days after a separate attack on her. The individual, who gained entry by posing as a BJP worker, began raising slogans before being removed by police officials present in civilian clothes. This incident occurred despite elevated security measures put in place for the Chief Minister following the prior assault. The previous attacker is in police custody on an attempted murder charge. A distinction has been made between the two events, with a reporter noting, "that attack is a different matter… But in this case, a program was going on in which a person suddenly stands up and protests against the CM." The police are currently interrogating the detained man to determine his motives.
