RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat has responded to questions over the Sangh’s registration status, saying the RSS is legally recognised as a "Body of Individuals." He said the Sangh, founded in 1925, didn’t require registration under the law after Independence, and pointed out that it has been banned thrice – which itself shows government recognition. Bhagwat added that "even Hindu Dharma is not registered," dismissing the controversy as baseless.
