Senior MI batter and India captain Rohit Sharma has slammed the official broadcaster of the Indian Premier League Star Sports for breach of privacy. Sharma, taking to Twitter on Sunday, 18 May has slammed the broadcaster for following every step of a cricketer’s life. Sharma had recently had one of his videos go viral during the IPL 2024. In a chat with KKR assistant coach Abhishek Nayar, Rohit was heard talking about his future in Mumbai Indians.
Speculations about Rohit’s future at MI and in the IPL had been rife after that and KKR were forced to delete that video. Sharma, ahead of the MI’s final group-stage match of the IPL, had requested with folded hands and asked the broadcasting team to not record his audio from personal conversations with other players and coaches.
