Rohit Sharma has found himself facing uncomfortable questions over both his own as well as the Indian cricket team’s form, but the under-fire captain has now been called selfish for not prioritising the team’s interests.
Rohit has been accused of putting his own interests ahead of the team as he demoted KL Rahul from the opening position for the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy series at Melbourne, and dropped Shubman Gill from the team altogether.
It is the latest bit of pressure that Rohit has faced from commentators and former cricketers, and it comes at a time when his form is under scrutiny.
