The rally, which originated in central Kolkata, faced obstruction from the police, leading to scuffles, barricade breaches, and reports of lathi charge and stone pelting. Participants, including sadhus and saints, are demanding to march towards Nobanno to present their deputation. The case, which saw CBI involvement after 24-48 hours, continues to be a point of contention, with allegations of hidden information by the West Bengal government.
