Rescue operations are underway in the Bhatwari area, where a road connecting to Dharali is broken. Many vehicles are stuck between Bhatwari and Gangnani due to the damaged road. As per the army, the road communication will take another 10 days to connect Uttarkashi to Dharali. Rescue efforts are on a war footing, with 50 tourists safely rescued. Approximately 60 civilians, including elderly people and children, received assistance at the Harsil airbase. Road construction is still taking place, and it will take at least 10 days for the road to be made. The focus remains on assisting those still awaiting rescue.
