A flash flood in Dhaniara, Dharamshala area has led to ongoing rescue operations for the third day. Over 200 people have been rescued from a hydro project site. At the project site, 5 km away, 13 people went missing, of whom 5 were rescued, 6 bodies recovered, and 2 remain missing. NDRF, SDRF, and local police continue search efforts. An orange alert has been issued by the weather department till 11 pm, with increasing water levels causing concern. Authorities have advised locals and tourists to avoid rivers and be cautious of landslides and flash floods.
