This report covers the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) arrest of four more prime accused in the Red Fort blast investigation, bringing the total number of arrests to six. The accused, identified as Dr. Musambil Shakil Janai of Pulwama, Dr. Adil Ahmed Rathore of Anantnag, Dr. Shaheen Saeed of Lucknow, and Mufti Irfan Ahmed Vagge of Shopia, were taken into custody in Srinagar. According to India Today’s Munish Pandey, ‘These four individuals played a very important and key role as far as the entire blast is concerned.’ The report notes that these individuals were previously in the custody of the Jammu and Kashmir police and their roles surfaced during the NIA’s interrogation. They are considered key individuals who handled logistics for the terror module involved in the incident.
